WHAT IS NICOLA LIKE AS A PT?

Right from my first session with her I really felt like she cared about the problems I was going through and really listened to me. She is also very informed on post natal fitness which is surprisingly hard to find!
WHAT ARE YOUR TOP OBJECTIVES FROM MY PT SESSIONS?
Even though I had lost most of my baby weight I suffered from a wide diastasis recti and had a very weak core. I felt like I couldn’t stand up straight or hold my stomach in and felt very self conscious in my clothes because I felt I looked pregnant. I just wanted to feel like me again, strengthen my core and get my waist back.

HOW DO THE SESSIONS MAKE YOU FEEL?
Fantastic! She always makes me feel motivated to carry on what I have learnt in her sessions. We don’t just do exercises we talk about posture and nutrition which has had a vast improved on my stomach because I no longer feel bloated.
HOW HAVE HER SESSIONS BEEN OF BENEFIT TO YOU?
Mentally I was at a real low point when I first got in touch with Nicola because I had spent two years searching for someone to help me heal my muscle separation. Nothing was working and I could not find anyone to help me including my own GP, and a physiotherapist who said nothing could be done apart from surgery which I did not want. She has given me hope that you can improve the way you look if you find the right person and the right exercises. She has completely elevated my self esteem.
WHY YOU CHOOSE A PT (AS OPPOSED TO OTHER WAYS).
None of the other ways had worked for me because even though I had lost weight I wasn’t healing and strengthening the right areas of my body. Every move I do she is there correcting me so I must have been exercising incorrectly before. It’s completely tailored to you so you get much better results in a shorter amount of time. I also feel now like I have much more knowledge about what is right for my body for the future.
